The purpose of this website is to refute the inaccurate claims made on the Internet and elsewhere by Terri-Anne Domaille, aka Cara James. This site was created by some of the innocent people Ms. James has attacked. Our intent on this site is to categorically refute her claims, expose her ulterior motives, and challenge her credibility in order to protect the reputations of those she has attacked from further harm.
What We Believe Cara James’ Campaign Is Really About
Cara James’ destructive campaign has involved threats and unfounded demands to extract two things from SIF and ASMY:
- The “return” of a romantic relationship she believed she had with a student of ASMY (Brendon Rice, a married man with children), believing it’s in their power to do so. “Maybe no one told you when I get Brendon back this stops. Since I doubt that will ever happen then this goes on indefinitely.” (Email from Cara James, January 23, 2007) “Jagad Guru could order him to marry me tomorrow and all of this would be over.” (Email from Cara James, May 15, 2007)
- Money. “If you have an issue with me an my website and my distributing information about SOI you can make it all go away by buying the site, domain names … and my rights to ever talk about Chris Butler, SIF or any related topic ever again … so I want you to be the first to know that the asking price is $10 000 US.” (Email from Cara James to SIF, August 7, 2007) “I am not going to EVER give you peace until I am satisfied and the way to my satisfaction is simple … Pay me off or put up with it forever and a day. Cara James Admits She Is Not Telling the Truth

- “I write slanderous things about their religion and have no respect for their privacy. I won't interview anyone that I slander and write vile things about.”
- “The funny thing is that I can write anything I want, regardless whether it is true or not. No-one is safe from my wrath.”
Cara James Is the Subject of a Defamation Judgment, a Permanent Injunction, and an Order for Damages
On November 26, 2008, the County Court of Victoria (Australia) issued a judgment against Cara James for defamation against ASMY’s National Coordinator, Ray Linsley.
On April 30, 2009, the Court issued a judgment that "permanently restrained" Cara James, "whether by herself or by her servants or agents or otherwise howsoever, from publishing or continuing to publish" her defamatory statements.
On May 6, 2009, the Court issued a further judgment awarding "by way of damages, including aggravated compensatory damages, the sum of Seventy Thousand Dollars ($70,000.00)."
Cara James Is the Target of an Apprehended Violence Order (AVO)
In March 2007, an Australian Court issued an Apprehended Violence Order (AVO) against Cara James for stalking and harassment (preventing her from coming within 100 meters of ASMY member Brendon Rice and his family).
Complaints to the Police Have Been Made Against Cara James
Cara James' actions have been reported to the police in Australia for:
- Threats. “... I'll burn the place down and see who runs out. If he burns he burns …” (Email from Cara James, June 15, 2007) “Since all you can do is run around after what I do my new mission is to kill your kids. As you know I have nothing to lose.” (Email from Cara James, February 13, 2009) “I just want you to know the next time someone interferes with my life, whether it is you or not I know where you live and I am going to kill you and your entire family.” (Email from Cara James, February 28, 2009)
- Assault and Theft. A complaint to the police in Australia was made against Cara James and her brother regarding an alleged assault and an alleged theft committed against a process server who alleges that when he was personally serving defamation court papers on Cara James (aka Terri-Anne Domaille), he was heavily assaulted, and that while he was immobile on the ground various personal items were stolen from his vehicle. The alleged incident was reported to the New South Wales Police and is under investigation.
- Demands with Threats and Attempts to Obtain Money. Cara James' unwarranted threats and demands on ASMY and SIF in a bid to force the object of her romantic interest to “return” to her, and her demands for money, have been reported to the police in Australia.
